I see it as another hobby. Best part about this game is it makes a lazy person want to go out and take a walk just to complete their Pokedex.
Pokespot is everwhere islandwide here in Singapore. You can get the following items from Pokespots:
Poke Ball - A device for catching wild Pokemon. It's thrown like a ball at a Pokemon, comfortably encapsulating its target.
Potion - Spray-type medicine for treating wounds. It restores the HP of one Pokemon by 20 Points.
Revive - A medicine that can revive fainted Pokemon. It also restores half of a fainted Pokemon's maximum HP.
Pokemon Eggs - For you to get a brand new pokemon without catching them. But then you have to hatch them in the incubator.
So depending on the types of eggs. To hatch some eggs you have to walk a distance.
Probably the developer of this game wants people to develop a healthy lifestyle by having someone to travel for certain distance in order to hatch it.
The way I see it is, it's pretty awesome. One of the most effective way to get couch potatoes gamers out and about.
Learning New Places
You know what. Another awesome thing about this game is that we can get to know places that we never know existed. It's all mapped out in the game road map itself.
How awesome is that!
Below are some of the pokemons that my sister and I have collected since it first launch. We've caught more. But then it's just seems to be alot. Hence I've just managed to take pictures of some.
