I love Syawal! Trust me yes I do!
But then....
It turns out fake when the 'crying session' starts.
Everyone with their crocodile tears. This one you can't fake it! It is written all over your face.
If you are not sincere, why in the first place you say sorry?
Frankly, I'm not into fakeness!
I don't go for 'Raya visiting' anymore except for the exceptional ones. It's fakeness all around.
To me, asking for forgiveness on Hari Raya is just like giving cheap gifts on Christmas. You don't care what gift you've given to that person but it's all for 'show' that you are not bias.
It's just a 'show' for other eyes to see that as if you are so remorse about your 'sin' towards that person. When in your heart not even a bit of sincerity in it.
Come on!
It's like a competition who can cry the best!
Cut the drama already all crocodile tears! Fakers!
If you really are sorry, you don't have to wait for Raya to do that.
Don't get me started talking about those 'show-offs'.
Who wears the best clothes.
Who have the best make up techniques.
Who have the best shoes.
And for the makciks, Who have the most 'barang emas (jewellery)'
Duh.....
Syawal lost it's glory with these kind of human.
I don't hate syawal. I hate those 'over' people that's celebrating it.
I'm glad that I don't have to go through those anymore.
One thing that I still have to go through is some 'concern' uncles and aunts still asking me this 'great' question.
When are you getting married?
Like duh! I feel like saying to them "you keep asking, do you have anyone for me?". But all that voices are just in my head. I just don't bother to answer.
Marriage is another joke in today's world. I'll talk about it in my next rant.
Anyways, Selamat Hari Raya & maaf zahir batin (although I don't know any of you, readers), it's just a custom to make the Selamat Hari Raya wish sounds nice! Bluek! hehehe...
Bye!
